Multiplier event 3D and chocolate – what do they have in common? took place in Tartu, at Anne Youth Center on June 20, 2022. There were 20 participants, 5 of whom were teachers, 2 were just interested in 3D and the rest were students.
Participants in the workshop got both theoretical and practical knowledge of 3D printing. In addition, everyone had the opportunity to make their own silicone mold, which has hundreds of different ways to use at home.

We started the event by introducing the Tartu Youth Work Center, “Young Creators Discover 3D” project and local workshops. Then there was a presentation about 3D printing and printers. The participants got a thorough knowledge of 3D modeling and printing. In addition, they were able to see how the printer works. Before lunch, we also looked for places for collaboration between participants, and the participants could think about how to use 3D printing in youth work.
In the second half of the event, there was a workshop on silicon molding and pouring chocolate into silicone molds. Participants gained new knowledge about how to use 3D shapes to create silicone molds and how to use silicone molds in the future.
