The multiplier event in Latvia was held on the 29th of July, 2022 in Daugavpils city. Allover, 27 participants and 3 facilitators, who were previously involved in the project activities, participated. Profile of the participants – youth workers, mentors and teachers from Daugavpils city and surrounding regions.
During the seminar, Erasmus+ project “Young Creators Discover 3D” was presented, as well as all the project results and created materials. The participants got to know about “Tinkercad”, developed practical skills how to use 3D printer, developed ideas on how and where 3D could be used for educational purposes and discussed 6 types of thinking – creative, design, innovative, technical, analytical and logic.
Participants were also involved in the process of 3D printing, following how from the prepared design 3D printer is printing designed item.
In the second part of the seminar participants discussed about non-formal education, games and gamification approach in education.
In the final evaluation, participants shared their opinions about the event and feedback was very good, both – in general about the seminar and about the benefits and resources they gained.
In order to achieve wider dissemination of the materials created in the project “Young Creators Discover 3D”, all available materials in Latvian language were collected in Google Drive and after seminar sent to the participants for further use, with the invitation to share materials with their colleagues. It is expected that each participant will share materials with at least 3 colleagues.
