3D DISCOVERIES – IN YOUTH CENTERS, LIBRARIES, CLUBS! 🆒
📌 Together with partners from Tartu Noorsootö Keskus from Estonia and Baltijas Reģionālais fonds from Latvia, the project “Young Creators Discover 3D” is coming to an end! The project will last until 31.07.2022.
🆒 During the year and a half of the project, more than 300 young people got acquainted with 3D technology in three countries, and 30 youth workers and educators learned how to conduct 3D and silicone molding workshops. Workshops were held in youth centers, libraries, schools, and robotics centers. In Lithuania, activities took place in Kaunas, Panevėžys, Druskininkai and Visaginas.
⚙️ The final task of the project is to complete the preparation of methodological guidelines that will combine good practices and help other workers in the youth field to interest young people in creative workshops. The guidelines are prepared based on the results of the research conducted during the project. They will be published in September 2022 (in English).
🆕 We met in Tartu on July 4-5 to discuss the progress of the project, dissemination of results and continuity of activities. During the meeting, we also discussed project management issues, submission of the final report and other organizational aspects.
📌 We had a great opportunity to get to know the activities of the partner Tartu Noorsootöö Keskus and the activities offered for young people. We learned a lot about youth work practices in Estonia. The meeting took place on different days in different places: Lille and Anne youth centers. We were impressed by the infrastructure, activities and projects of the Tartu Youth Work Center.
